Noise at the Reliever Airports
Anoka County-Blaine
The Anoka County-Blaine Airport is located in the city of Blaine, in Anoka County. This airport serves one of the most rapidly growing portions of the metro area. Anoka County-Blaine Airport is a general aviation facility serving mainly single and twin-engine propeller, light personal, and corporate jet aircraft operated by private, recreational and corporate pilots.
The Anoka County-Blaine Airport Noise Abatement Plan was developed by the MAC Noise Program to promote aircraft procedures and operations that reduce airport noise for people living near the airport.
The Anoka County-Blaine Airport Advisory Commission currently exist for the
purpose of bringing together Metropolitan Airports Commission staff, the airport's
tenants, and the airport's neighbors to discuss issues related to airport development,
operations and noise. The Noise Programs Office provides technical support for
these meetings. More information can be found on the community
outreach page for the reliever airports or in our document
library.
