Noise at the Reliever Airports

Lake Elmo

Lake Elmo Airport is located east of St. Paul approximately 12 miles from the St. Paul business district and less than five miles from the Minnesota/Wisconsin border. The airport was designed to accommodate private and recreational operators catering to single and multi-engine propeller aircraft.

The Lake Elmo Airport Noise Abatement Plan was developed by the Aviation Noise and Satellite Programs Office to promote procedures that are compatible with the existing residential development around the airport.
