Runway 12L/30R - North Parallel Runway Reconstruction Project
The center segment of Runway 12L/30R ("north parallel runway") at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport is now fully-functional after being reconstructed during the past two and half months. The runway was shut down this summer beginning August 18 and it re-opened on October 30. The two ends of the runway were reconstructed in 1990, and reconstruction of the south parallel runway (Runway 12R/30L) was completed in 2007.
